Children's Study Room Guidelines 

The Children's Study Room is available for use by a small group, of which one must be an adult and at least one must be a child 12 years of age or younger. A valid full-privilege Lewisville Library card in good standing is required to make a reservation and to check out a room.

The Children's Study Room:

  • can be used by a group once per day, for up to three hours.
  • can be reserved up to three months in advance.
  • may be reserved by a group no more than two times per calendar month. 
  • must be checked out at the Youth Services Desk by the person who made the reservation.

The Children's Study Room contains:

  • 2 study tables
  • 8 chairs
  • 2 wall-mounted whiteboards
  • Electric outlets

Whiteboard markers are available for checkout at the Youth Services Desk.

Beverages in a closed container are permitted in the Library. All food must be consumed at tables in the alcove just inside the west entrance of the Library. Exceptions for food served at an event or meeting require the prior approval of the Library Director or a Supervisor.

The Children's Study Room seats up to 8 people. Additional furniture may not be added without persmission from a library supervisor.
