2nd Floor Study Room 

Study Rooms A thru F are located on the 2nd floor of the Library and provide use of a table, chairs, whiteboard, WiFi, and electric outlet. 

  • May be used by an individual or small group for one three-hour period per day per cardholder.
  • May be reserved up to three days in advance.
  • The 2nd Floor Study Rooms must be checked out at the Adult Services Desk.
  • A valid, full-privilege Lewisville library card is required to check out a study room. Temporary cards and student cards may not be used to check out a study room.
  • Each study room contains a study table, chairs, wall-mounted whiteboard, and an electric outlet. Additional furniture may not be added without persmission from a library supervisor.
  • Dry erase markers are available for checkout. Dry erase markers are also available for purchase from the Library's office supply vending machine.

STUDY ROOM GUIDELINES 

  • A valid full-privilege Lewisville Library card in good standing is required to make a reservation and to check out a room. The email address associated with the library card number will be used to notify the cardholder of activity on the appointment, such as confirmations, cancellations, and reminders. Temporary, Student, and Guest cards may not be used to check out a room.
  • Study room reservations may be made up to three days in advance. Walk-ins are permitted pending room availability.
  • Reservations may be made in 15-minute increments. One study room reservation per cardholder is allowed per day for up to three hours.
  • Room reservations must be claimed by the person who made the reservation. Second floor study rooms must be checked out at the Adult Services Desk.
  • Room reservation cancellations should be made as soon as possible. Reservations will be cancelled if the cardholder fails to claim the room reservation ("no show") within 15 minutes. Repeated failure to claim reservations may result in loss of the individual's privilege of reserving a room in the future.
  • The cardholder under whom the room is checked out is responsible for any damages incurred during the use of the room.

  • Beverages in a closed container are permitted in the Library. All food must be consumed at tables in the alcove just inside the west entrance of the Library.
